But he won't listen and practices everyday to make his hand stronger. In the end he is able to play guitar again and better than before. Artistic Medium: This book was painted with water colors and large brush strokes. The images all flow together just like how music flows. The color scheme is mostly blues, greens, and purples. These colors all blend very well together and have a calming effect just like music does. Style: The style of this book is a poetry diary. Each page is a poem and every few pages has a location and date at the top so that you can place it in time. The poetry fits well with the main concept of this book, jazz music, because the poetry is almost like lyrics that go along with music. | Strong Vocabulary: Some of the words in this book are very specific to the time period and jazz music, for example "fish or trout tickling", "banjo", "78 rpm records", and Django's name.
